Canada’s National Tower, better know as the CN Tower

Canada’s National Tower, more commonly referred to as the CN Tower, is remarkable as an iconic landmark. At 553.33 meter high, the concrete communications and observation tower located at 301 Front Street West, in downtown Toronto is one of the world’s top tourist destinations, and Canada's most visited attraction. Aside from the fact the tower is an engineering marvel, it's also an internationally acclaimed entertainment and dining destination open to visitors from 9:00 AM until 10:30 PM daily.

Owned and operated by federal crown corporation Canada Lands Company, the CN Tower is visited by over 1.5 million people annually. Visitors enjoy breathtaking views once they rocket to the top of the tower aboard the world's top elevator ride. The Tower's elevators feature not only a glass front, but also glass floor panels. It takes only 58 seconds to get to the top, but the ride is memorable enough to never be forgotten.

Visitors enjoy views of up to 160km away from the 4 observation areas that include: the LookOut, the world’s first and most famous glass floor observation deck with a view 1,122 feet straight down to the ground, outdoor SkyTerrace, and the SkyPod, which at 447 meters, is the highest of them all. Open seasonally from April through November, EdgeWalk at the CN Tower is an exciting extreme attraction and the world’s highest outdoor walk on a building.

There are 3 restaurants within the CN Tower complex. There's the award winning, fine dining at 360 The Restaurant. There is an upscale bistro called Horizons, and more casual fare is served in Le Café.

Attractions include a state of the art theatre, KidZone play area and 10,000 square feet of unique Canadian artisan souvenir shopping in the Gift Shop.

The CN Tower is Toronto's ultimate event venue, and hosts over 500 events each year from receptions and dinners to product launches and themed events for 2 to 2000 people.

The spectacular architectural illumination of the CN Tower begins at dusk each night with top of the hour light show.
